Brian Kay
Brian Kay is considered one of the nation's leading authorities on recruiting, training, and developing top producers in the financial services industry. He has developed prospecting, marketing, coaching and business building programs for over 10,000 independent insurance agents, financial advisors, CPA's and mortgage originators in all 50 states.

Brian has chosen to focus his unique skill set and marketing acumen on understanding, communicating, and properly solving the immediate and long-term financial needs faced by Americans today. Through LFA and it’s primary divisions, Brian helps tens of thousands of families more easily afford to send their children to college and still be able to save for a comfortable retirement.

Brian graduated from Cornell University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He currently makes his home in Bergen County, NJ with his wife, Helaine, their three children, and 200 pound English Mastiff.

Tim Austin
Tim Austin is a 25+ year veteran in the financial services industry. By focusing on the college funding marketplace, Tim’s passion was helping parents solve their most immediate need -- paying for their children's college education while continuing to fund their lifestyle, pay off their home, and save for retirement.

In 1999, Tim partnered with Brian Kay to start the National Association of College Funding Advisors (NACFA). Tim's passion for coaching has made him one of the leading training and recruiting experts in the financial services industry. His technical background has also allowed Tim to create turn-key concepts for solving Americans immediate and long-term needs through the use of specific financial products and services. In a very short period of time, Tim has helped build NACFA into one of the fasting growing insurance marketing organizations in the entire country.

John Hollis
John has been involved in the financial services industry for over 30 years. He is the co-founder and a principal member of Ohio-based College Planning Network - the nation's largest and most reputable college admissions & financial aid servicing centers. Through his company, Hollis Financial Services, he has worked with hundreds of high-net worth families as well as many Advisors with privately held businesses. He is a respected expert in wealth transfer and estate planning.

John resides in Highland Heights, Ohio with his wife and five children. He enjoys playing golf, coaching various sports and spending time with his family. Also, John is very active in charities that include Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald, the YMCA, and the American Cancer Society.

Scott Weingold
Scott has been ranked the #1 “College Financial Aid Expert Worth Knowing About” in the entire country by He has co-authored the book, “The Real Secret To Paying For College. The Insider’s Guide To Sending Your Child To College – Without Spending Your Life’s Savings.” Scott also publishes College Made Simple a popular website with insider tips and strategies, articles, reports on applying for college and college financing. He also helps train and teach over 300 college funding advisors all across the country.

Scott is the co-founder and a principal of the widely renown College Planning Network, LLC – the nation’s largest and most reputable college admissions and financial aid servicing center. CPN is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.

Scott, along with his college funding advisory team, helps thousands of families throughout the country with their college planning needs. He's been recognized by Crains Cleveland Business as being one of the top 20 business people “on the rise” and has been featured or mentioned in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Yahoo News,, Voice America with Ron Adams, Crains Cleveland Business, and on Cleveland Connection with James McIntyre.

Scott resides in Solon, Ohio with his wife, Alison, and his daughter, Sydney. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and being involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
